Self taught amateur fossil collector and fossil photographer. Started in my mid 40’s … trip to a local quarry resulted in finding my first fossil… 9 inch Isotelus Trilobite…. I had no idea what I was looking at but I knew it was ancient….2 people that impacted my early days was Bob O’Donnell (The Fossil Guy Website) and Bill Hessin website. The connection with Dave Rudkin of ROM and contributions further added to enjoyment of the hobby. My optics expertise started at age 10 and I have been playing with optics for over 50 yrs and have built imaging equipment. Multi stacking of images via Helicon Focus Software I was involved in supplying the programmers with Foveon Images for their software in return they granted me a life time licence of their product which I use to create the 3D model videos.
