My love of fossils began in grade 4 when I discovered Dinosaurs once roamed the Earth. My Fascination with them grew throughout my early years, but I was a kid and there was a lot going on in life. Time went on I became an adult still amazed by the fossil record of once living creatures, but there was always adult things getting in the way. At 38 years of age, I took to the internet to research what prehistoric creatures may have lived near me, and where I could collect them. I joined an online forum call The Fossil Forum and it was there that I heard about Hungry Hollow in Ontario, Canada. My first collecting trip was a week later when I visited Rock Glen Conservation Area, I found brachiopods and a trilobite I was hooked. Later on I found another near by location where I found a lot of crinoids mostly Arthroacantha carpenteri. In other locations I discovered, I found many species of trilobites, sea scorpions, crinoids, blastoids and a whole host of aquatic fossils. One day I hope to get the experience of hunting for Dinosaurs.
